Who will like it: If you liked the Hunger Games and you also like fantasies then this is perfect for you, because it’s a great blend of both.

Summary: Nineteen-year-old returning champion Sean Kendrick competes against Puck Connolly, the first girl ever to ride in the annual Scorpio Races, both trying to keep hold of their dangerous water horses long enough to make it to the finish line. 

Who will like it: If you like horses or understand the deep friendship you can have in a pet then this book is for you. Also, if you like girls who have guts then you will like it.

Summary: Suddenly able to see demons and the Shadowhunters who are dedicated to returning them to their own dimension, fifteen-year-old Clary Fray is drawn into this bizzare world when her mother is kidnapped by a demon and Clary herself is almost killed by a monster. Clary soon discovers that this new, creepy world may be more apart of who she is than her regular life.

Who will like it: If you liked Twilight, but wished there was more to it than just the love story you will love this.

Summary: After learning that the father he never knew is Poseidon, God of the Sea, Percy Jackson is transferred from boarding school to Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp for demigods, and becomes involved in a quest to prevent a war between the gods.

Who will like it: Anyone who likes their books with a large dose of adventure, and anyone who always thought Greek mythology was interesting but too complicated to actually read.
