Clara B. Mounce Public Library will
have free events for adults this summer.
Most events will be held on Saturdays.
Events will be in the meeting room
on the second floor.

May 17, SHEILA MAY'S ENVELOPE BOOKS
1 PM, Make an envelope book,
great for gift cards, pictures, & more

June 7, BECAUSE OF THE CAMELS *
11 AM, Local author Brenda Blair,
historical fiction set in 1856 when
the U.S. Army brought camels to TX

June 14, LEGO CREATIONS CONTEST *
Build lego creations at home.
Multigenerational teams encouraged.
Display your creations at 10 AM.
Vote on your favorites!

June 21, MARSHMALLOW MADNESS
11 AM, Build your own marshmallow
gun and have target practice.

July 19, AQUATIC GREENS FARM
1 PM, Learn about hydroponic farming
from a local, commercial business.

PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
FOR ADULTS, JUNE & JULY


Three Themes: PEOPLE, ANIMALS, SCENERY

Maximum of three entries per person

Must be registered in the Adult Summer Program

Photos must have a release form

Photo size 5" x 7"

Photos accepted at Mounce Library &
Ringer Library until July 31

The public will be invited to vote for their top
3 photos. There will be one winner per category.
