NaNoWriMo write-in (LJRL)
November 28, 2012 –
People who are participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) will meet to work on their novels. Most write-ins will be on Wednesdays and Sundays, and there are also some on the A&M campus on Tuesdays. Free wi-fi is available at the library. Bring your laptop or bring pen and paper. More information about write-ins can be found at the Bryan+College Station NaNoWriMo regional forum. The page linked below is the library system's NaNoWriMo page with a list of events and links to related pages. If you still have questions or need directions to the library, you can call (979) 764-3416. Writing sessions will be in the front meeting room.
All ages are welcome to participate in NaNoWriMo. (See the NaNoWriMo Young Writer's Program if you are under 13 or if you are 13 to 17 and would prefer to set your own writing goal).
The regular write-ins are welcome to all participants, ages 13 and up. At least one of the two ML's (municipal liaisons) will be on hand for all events. Most of the regulars are adults (largely college-aged) and a few teens, and the group is good about policing themselves when younger people are around. If you have concerns, talk with Summer or Ted (the ML's) at the beginning of a write-in, or contact them at the NaNoWriMo regional forum or on the BCS WriMos Facebook page.
