We are proud to announce a new ESL program starting this fall. The classes will cover only very basic English phrases for shopping, banking, talking to a doctor, talking to your child's teacher, etc.

Class will be held in the 2nd floor meeting room.

Meet Barbara Donalson Althaus, author of Kyle Tough: The Saga of Texas A&M's Rise to Power in Athletics & Agriculture, 1902-1956. Barbara Donalson Althaus is a local author, member of Brazos Writers, and a historian.

Kyle Tough tells the story of Edwin Jackson Kyle (the namesake of Kyle Field), athletics 1896-1956, agriculture and agriculture education, education, diplomacy and WWII leading to USAID, the Corps of Cadets standards, and the inspiration of Edwin Kyle's personal trials and how he overcame them.

See the author's website at www.kyletough.com. There will be a book signing at the end of the program. Readers may bring their own copies or may purchase books from the author at the event.
