ATTENTION: TEEN WRITERS AND TEEN ARTISTS Scribes & Sketchers is just for you! What is Scribes & Sketchers? It’s a new summer program at the Bryan Public Library where teens (at least 13 years old) can write or illustrate their own book and have it published! Scribes & Sketchers Application (PDF) Photo/Video Release Form (PDF) What kind of book you ask? You can publish any kind of book that you can create in one summer...children’s picture book, short story, comic book, book of art, poetry, etc. If a Scribe and a Sketcher want to team-up that would be even better! What are the dates and times? Starting June 4th, Scribes & Sketchers will meet every Tuesday from 2:00-4:00pm through August 6, 2013. How do I sign up? You must go to the Clara B. Mounce Public Library in downtown Bryan to sign up, but hurry there’s only 30 spots available! What if I have more questions? | Downtown Parking Information: There is a limited amount of street parking available near Mounce Library. There is also a parking garage nearby. At the garage, the first hour is free. The second hour of parking is $2, and it is $1 per hour for each additional hour in the parking garage. | ||
