Early Literacy Caregiver Training Course
A Ready to Read two-hour online course covering foundations of early literacy is available for daycare providers, early educators, caregivers and parents. It is free. Two continuing education credits and a certificate are available upon successful completion of this 6 module course.

The early literacy programming also includes a series of year-round fun family story-time classes for children and caregivers. The BCS Library’s Early Literacy Program covers the six foundational skills essential for reading readiness in children 0-6:
