Aggie Sports Day & Reading Rally

3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Reading is the sport of champions...so get fired up! The Texas Aggie Yell Leaders will lead us in a reading pep rally. Aggie athletes will talk about the importance of reading and share favorite books such as Aggie Goose Rhymes and Anna Meagan: The Aggie Cinderella. Remember to wear your maroon and white!

Jack & the Three Sillies Puppet Show

Poor Jack and his wife are fighting over money again in this hilarious Southern mountain folk play. Jack is sent to town to sell the old brown cow, but being too lazy to walk all the way down the mountain, he tries to sell the cow for a bargain along the way.

Jungle Jim's Bugs of the World

If it creeps or crawls, bites or stings, Jungle Jim probably has it! Live insects from around the world will be on display including hissing cockroaches, scorpions, tarantulas, walking sticks, butterflies, and more. Many of them have set world records for their size.

Little Red Riding Hood

The Wolf is having one of those days. When he gets a whiff of the goodies Little Red is carrying to her Grandmother's house, he does everything he can think of to get them from her, even dressing up in Granny's nightgown. This hilarious production performed by the Express Children's Theatre is filled with music and dance.

Closing Ceremony

Bring your completed reading log to the closing ceremony and the Mayor of Bryan will award you with a certificate, reading medal, and free paperback book. If you can't make it to the ceremony, you can pick up your award anytime in August.
