| 12 to 2 or 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. | |||||
| Become a reading champion! Register for the Larry J. Ringer Public Library’s Summer Reading Club for children at the Arctic Wolf Ice Center located at 400 Holleman Dr. in College Station! The ice-skating is FREE for all children who register for the Summer Reading Club. If you have already registered, don’t forget to bring your reading log with you! Join us at ONE of the two sessions. | |||||

| Did you know there is a new food pyramid? Are you and your children up on what's healthy? Champions know what's good to eat and drink! Every half hour, the Texas Extension Office will be at the Larry J. Ringer Public Library presenting Six Healthy Habits for Healthy Kids, and Teen Volunteers will be performing a puppet show! Don’t forget to pick up a prize from the HEBuddy! There will also be great craft activities. | |||||

| Heroes abound in our community! Visit the Larry J. Ringer Public Library and see firefighters and police officers, Smokey the Bear, the Mayor and City Council! The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History will bring items to celebrate Native American heroes. Don't forget your autograph book—these are our hometown heroes! | |||||

| Great sports demonstrations take place every half hour at the Larry J. Ringer Public Library! Try karate from the Academy of Modern Martial Arts. You can also see some cheerleading and practice your dance moves. Don’t forget to try your hand at a craft activity! | |||||

| Celebrate the green growing things here in the Brazos Valley. Learn about recycling and create wonderful crafts sponsored by Keep Brazos Beautiful. Then watch a puppet show produced by our Teen Volunteers! Shows are every half hour. | |||||

| Want to bounce in a Moonwalk? Why not try your hand at a bean bag toss? The Larry J. Ringer Public Library's Summer Reading Club for children is half-way through. Celebrate what you have accomplished so far this summer! Play games, win prizes, and have a great time with friends and family! | |||||

| The Larry J. Ringer Public Library will host a wide variety of musical talent! The Brazos Valley Symphony will show the differences between various instruments and how they are played. There will also be other great music and activities for all ages from Music Magic and Kindermusik. Presentations are every half hour. Craft activities all day! | |||||

| The Texas Zoo Show will be at the Larry J. Ringer Public Library with amazing animals for all to see! The Brazos Valley Animal Shelter will show how to train your dog, while the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History will have many stuffed animals for children to touch and explore! | |||||

You have done it! You are a Reading Olympian! Bring your completed reading log to the library and get
your FREE book and reading certificate! Don't forget your autograph book, too! Aggie Athletes will be there,
and you never know what other champions you will bump into!
