| Have you ever taken a lie detector test? Here's your chance to see how it's done! Stuart Ervin from Central Texas Polygraph will demonstrate a lie detector test with the assistance of our youth services librarians, and Mr. Ervin will tell us how polygraphs are used by the police. --Original guest speaker had to cancel. Officer Karla Wiesepape of the College Station Police Department gave a presentation on crime prevention and answered questions from the audience. | All of our library volunteers are invited to a pizza party to thank you for all your help. We will also be getting ready for the children's carnival that is in two days. Pizza was generously donated by Double Dave's Pizzaworks. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, come to the library and pick up an application. Applications should be returned to the youth services librarians. |

| Celebrate your accomplishments at the Adamson Lagoon! Come to the picnic area for food and beverages provided by the library! The pool includes waterslides and water basketball. We will have certificates and prizes available for those who have completed the Teen Summer Reading Club gameboard (so remember to bring your gameboard with you). ** Bee Creek Park, 1900 Anderson, 764-3735 ** FOR TEENS ONLY. You MUST be registered for the Teen Summer Reading Club. If you have already turned in your gameboard, we will have a list. If you have not turned it in yet, you will need to bring your gameboard (whether it is completed or not).
