Ready to Read @ Your Library Early Literacy

Now is the time when your child's brain development is at its peak! The library
is offering a Ready to Read @ Your Library Early Literacy Workshop on Thursday, January 10,
2008 in the evening from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the 2nd floor meeting room of the Bryan Public Library. This
workshop will include key information on supporting the literacy development of the children in your
care. The six early literacy skills necessary for future reading achievement can be fostered through
everyday activities interwoven into family routines as well as specific activities targeting each stage
of literacy development of the child in your care. No childcare will be provided, but this information is
valuable, so please plan to come!
