Clara's Children's Collection

Clara's Children's Collection serves a dual purpose: to honor Clara Mounce, Community Librarian for the Bryan + College Station Public Library System, and to provide a prize-winning collection of books for children.

Initially, a set of books was donated by Amanda Williams of the Central Texas Library System (CTLS). Since then donations have helped the collection swell into a valuable collection. These books have been integrated into our children's collections at the Bryan and Larry J. Ringer libraries.

Clara Mounce Young Readers Fund

The Clara Mouce Young Readers Fund was established in 2006 to provide long term support for children's programming in the Bryan + College Station Library System. Donations to this fund are invested, and the revenues are used to benefit Youth Services at both libraries.
