The first movie starts at 10 a.m. and ends just after 12 noon.
The Magnificent Seven (1960), starring Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, and Horst Buchholz. This classic Western is a Western version of The Seven Samurai. It is about American gunfighters hired to defend a Mexican town from outlaws led by a nefarious bandit. This movie was approved but does not have a modern MPAA rating as it was released prior to that system. IMDB says it is approximately equivalent to a PG movie with some violence.
The second movie starts at 1 p.m. and ends around 2:30 p.m.
The Secret Life of Pets (2016) is a new release. It is an animated family film (action adventure comedy). The quiet life of a terrier named Max is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes. This movie is rated PG.
The third movie starts at 4 p.m. and ends around 5:30 p.m.
Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life (2016) is a new release. It is a teen comedy based on a book by James Patterson. Imaginative quiet teenager Rafe Katchadorian is tired of his middle school’s obsession with the rules at the expense of any and all creativity. Desperate to shake things up, Rafe and his best friends have come up with a plan: break every single rule in the school and let the students run wild. This movie is rated PG.
