November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Our local group is called the BCS Wrimos. See theirFacebook page or the NaNoWriMo regional forum for details about local events. Local events are for ages 13+. Children may sign up for the Young Writers Program at ywp.nanowrimo.org.
A write-in is a time where participants get together to write near other people. Bring paper and pen/pencil or your preferred electronic device (laptop, tablet, smartphone). Free wi-fi is available.

General write-in schedule for November 2017:
Tuesdays, 6:30-9 PM, at Evans Annex (room 405C) on the TAMU campus,
Wednesdays*, 6-9 PM, at Ringer Library (CS public library),
Sundays*, 1:30-5:30 PM, at Ringer Library (CS public library).
The final write-in is on Thursday, November 30 at Ringer Library from 6:30 until midnight.
*No write-in sessions on Wed., Nov. 22 (night before Thanksgiving) or Sun., Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving weekend)
**Meet in GS2, group study room 2, at the back of the library on Nov. 5.
