Grandma Bobbee: Story Songs

Performing online in an Exclusive Limited Engagement, Clara B. Mounce Public Library is proud to present:

Grandma Bobbee

Starting Wednesday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. | One Week Only

Grandma Bobbee is a library legend in the Brazos Valley.

Bobbee Pennington spent 15 years working as a storyteller and family literacy librarian with Clara B. Mounce Public Library until she retired in 2019. But don’t let that fool you. Bobbee is still very active in literacy and storytelling.

A member of the Tejas Storytelling Association, Bobbee is the program coordinator for the Brazos Valley Literacy Coalition and she performs and tells stories in schools, libraries, and museums.

She is also now a registered trainer with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System certified in the following areas:

  • Child Growth and Development
  • Development Through Play
  • Emergent Literacy: Reading and Writing
  • Language and Communication: Listening, Speaking, and Vocabulary
  • Supporting Skill Development

Come join us virtually to listen to Grandma Bobbee take us on a storytelling adventure.

This performance is a part of the Bryan + College Station Library System’s Summer Reading Program and will be available for one week only.
