Soldiers of the American Revolution, 1775 to 1783 with John Keahey

The Young Audiences Arts for Learning Houston and historical re-enactor John Keahey present Soldiers of the American Revolution, 1775 to 1783. Come take a trip through history to see what life was like for the soldiers of the American Revolution!

This performance begins by presenting the dress of a fully equipped British soldier.  After each item of the uniform and equipment is explained, the uniform is contrasted with the typical American Continental soldier’s garb.  John Keahey uses historically accurate uniforms to illustrate the reality of the life of a Revolutionary soldier.
