The Bryan + College Station Public Library System is partnering with OPAS at Texas A&M University for their February production of “Dog Man: The Musical!”
Based on the worldwide bestselling hit series by Dav Pilkey, “Dog Man: The Musical” is a hilarious and heartwarming production following the chronicles of Dog Man, who with the head of a dog and the body of a policeman, loves to fight crime and chew on the furniture.
Several library programs will feature dogs and Dog Man in the lead-up to the musical.
Dav Pilkey Reading Challenge
Jan. 15 – Feb. 15
Join us for a month of reading fun with the Dav Pilkey Reading Challenge! Kids and families are invited to read and log any three Dav Pilkey books — such as “Dog Man,” “Captain Underpants” or “Cat Kid Comic Club” between Jan. 15 and Feb. 15.
Participants who complete the challenge will receive exclusive Dog Man bookmarks (while supplies last) and automatic entry into a grand-prize drawing for tickets to “Dog Man: The Musical” on Feb. 21, 2026.

Dog Man Speed Puzzle Challenge
Feb. 3 & 4
Put your puzzle-solving skills to the test in this fast-paced Dog Man–themed challenge! Ages 7-12 are invited to complete a Dog Man puzzle the fastest for a chance to win prizes. Registration begins Jan. 27 at 9 a.m.
