Performance from past editions of Nutcracker Ballet Storytime.

‘Tis the season for The Nutcracker ballet. After first debuting in 1892, ballet groups have been performing this show for more than 130 years all over the world, including at libraries!

Join us for the 2023 edition of the Bryan + College Station Public Library System’s Nutcracker Ballet Storytime performances.

A librarian serves as narrator while dancers from Ballet Brazos perform excerpts from The Nutcracker during a reading from The Nutcracker storybook. This is a delightful experience for all ages, whether you’re seeing the story come to life for the first time, or revisiting the holiday classic.

Free tickets will be handed out at each library the day of the performances, starting 30 minutes before each show begins. This is an all-ages show and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited.
